Cook Once – 5 Different Meals

If you are like me some weeks you need to spend less time in the kitchen and still have wonderful meals for your family.  I love it when I can create different meals from one time spent in the kitchen.  Sometimes it is really easy to cook a big batch of ground beef up, then I can plan on using it so many different ways to create different meals for the rest of the week.  I like to cook up about 5 pounds at a time with a little garlic salt.  A few years ago I shared how I can spend one afternoon in the kitchen and create meals for the entire week.   Cook Once – 5 Different Meals.

One of my favorite meals is Enchiladas.  One pound of cooked ground round and this is such an easy meal to put together.  It takes just about 10 minutes to assemble and you have a great meal for the whole family.

Another easy meal is my Feed A Crowd For Under $5 casserole.  This is probably my most popular recipe.  It has been pinned nearly l million times by me and several say it is the most popular pin on their recipe board too.  Again cook up some noodles and you are just about done, so easy to put together.

We love a great meal with Spaghetti and some garlic bread.  With one pound of your cooked ground round you can create some fabulous meat sauces and have a really special meal.

Tacos are a favorite at our house too.  These are real no-brainer meals.  Just add some taco seasoning to 1 lb of your cooked ground round, chop up some fixings and you are done.

For a really light meal how about some Taco Salad?  This is so good and so easy.  Your family will love it.  Add some taco-seasoned ground round and Fritos to your tossed salad and enjoy.

I love having meals that I can throw together in a hurry and something I know my family will love.  You can find all the recipes for each of these and a few more here.

I am not connected to cloudfare, so not sure what you are seeing. I’ve checked with 3 people and they say they can all pin my posts. Thanks for your input. Not sure why you can’t pin. Marty

Love everyone of your meals…I sautéed chicken breasts the other night with mashed potatoes…Last night I shredded the rest of the chicken breasts and made cream of chicken soup. Tonight the rest of the soup will be poured over noodles!!

That’s smart, to cook up a big batch of ground beef and freeze in lb packages! You’re making me very hungry, Marty!
