It is so fun to be joining the February Pinterest Challenge hosted by Cindy @ Country Road 407. I am joining a wonderful group of ladies to share our take on today’s Pinterest Inspiration Photo. Spring Blossoms – February Pinterest Challenge
This month our feature challenge comes from Hip and Humble Style. Sharon shared her mantel dressed with a pretty bouquet of Spring’s Faux DIY Cherry Blossoms. She kept the other accessories simple to enhance the Cherry Blossoms.
Welcome, if you are coming over from Our Southern Home I am sure you loved Christy’s Spring Mantel. Her home is one of my all time favorites, so I always love to see how she changes things up for the seasons.
I don’t have a fireplace, so no mantel, however, I think my entrance table will work just fine. This console is what I use as an entrance table on this two two story wall of my living room. It’s the first thing that greets my guests and makes the first impression. The mantel of a fireplace is a fabulous feature in any home, however since we don’t have a fireplace, then this table is my feature for today.
Spring Blossoms seem to usher in all the lushness of the new season. Diy Faux Cherry Blossoms are the feature in our inspiration picture. For my table I am adding a beautiful vase of Apple Blossoms to welcome the beginning of Spring.
My pretty bouquet is made up of faux Apple Blossoms. I love the white with yellow centers, the first signs of spring. I’ve placed mine in a wicker vase next to a marble book and large magnifying glass.
A cutout gold dish in the center and my favorite Thinking Man statue. I’ve kept things simple so the large bouquet of Apple Blossoms takes the stage.
The first touches of spring and I love it. ( Our 2020 Spring Home Tours are coming up soon, can’t wait.)
Some of my favorite DIY Projects – chair, ottoman and painting are all in this one space.
So, are you thinking Spring too? Next up on the tours is Lora and I know you are going to love Lora’s Spring Mantel. She is so talented and I am sure we will all be inspired. Now be sure to check out all the other participants below.
Your entry table looks beautiful decorated for spring. I especially love the vase holding your pretty apple blossoms.
So beautiful, Marty! I adore all the texture and use of soft colors especially in the art!
Isn’t it fun to start decorating for spring, Marty? Spring branches are the best. Love your wicker vase you put them in!
Miss Marty I love that your interpretation is a side table. It’s truly a gorgeous arrangement!
Such a pretty space. Looks warm and inviting!
Marty your entry way is so beautiful and welcoming. I love the spring apple blooms you placed in the cute vase. You created a very pretty Spring vignette. I love it!
Your faux blossoms are beautiful. That magnifying glass is a great circular element. Have a wonderful week.
You and I are twins, Marty! No fireplace or mantel in My Wee Abode either! You have done a lovely job with your entryway console. I always love seeing how others decorate what they have, and do a great job of it! Pinned! 😉
Love all the textures you incorporated on your entry table Marty. It all says SPRING to me!
I always love seeing how you decorate Marty. It’s sophisticated, elegant and has such beautiful soft color that works so well together. Everything is so pretty. Thank you so much for joining in and for showing us an alternative to not having a mantel.
I love that wicker vase, very unusual!
This turned out so lovely, Marty! I enjoy seeing how you modified the “mantel” decor for your space. That artwork as the backdrop is stunning, and the apple blossoms are the perfect touch.
Hi marty, I love the entry table! Who needs a mantel when we have horizontal space! Love the artwork as the backdrop! Happy Day! Laura
Marty, your table works just fine instead of a mantle. It’s the spring vignette that is the focus. I’ll have to check out Apple blossoms.
Marty, your entryway table is beautiful with the vase of apple blossoms, the pretty gold basket and your cool Thinking Man statue! I decided to use my desk, too. Makes for a nice change. <3 Good to be with you on the PC tour again this month!!
Happy early spring hugs,
Barb 🙂
It looks so pretty!
Love how the apple blossoms liven up your beautiful home, Marty. Makes me so happy to see hints of spring.
I love the way you improvised. It’s so fun coming here to see all of the different decor styles. Your entryway turned out so good. 🙂
