The temperatures are in the 70’s and the sun is shining, so my brain is focused on Spring. Time to add some “Spring In The Master”. Living in the desert we don’t really have bad weather, just a little rain and a few days with cooler temps, so after those rainy days, I am more than ready for bright sunshine and warmer temps.
I am a neutral person with just pops of color and yellow is always a favorite to add to my home. It just feels like sunshine.
We get great light in our bedroom from another 9 ft. window. This house has big windows in almost every room, I love that.
Keeping the nightstand simple and clutter free. This is my nightstand, so I like it really simple. All I add is a glass of water at bedtime.
I added some yellow check pillows and a yellow plaid throw and then decided we needed one pop of color. So I added a blue and yellow pillow that I had.
I am trying to remember to wear a hat if I am out in the sun and especially if I am in the backyard with the sun reflecting off the pool.
The yellow just brightens up the whole room and adds the perfect amount of “Spring In The Master”.
I placed a really pretty turquoise bead cross I found on the dresser to tie in with the turquoise pillow.
To the right of the dresser is the doorway to the Master Bathroom. You can see that makeover here.
