Thrifty Room Maker Under $45 - Two Ways

Check out my Thrifty Room Makeover Under $45 – 2 Ways.

I love it when I find some really great bargains.  I am sure you do too.

It is especially nice when these thrifty shopping pieces can create a whole new room.

I’ve loved the Blue and White I had for the Summer Home Tour and it was perfect for the 4th of July.

With more stores opening up and me being a little stir crazy, I ventured out to a couple places to check out their sales.

I found some really great bargains – enough to create a whole new Thrifty Room Makeover Under $45.

Tuesday Morning always has some great things and Hobby Lobby always has great sales too, so I

had fun browsing through both stores.   I found some great pillows to change up my color scheme.

Here’s what I found – – – –

Tuesday Morning $14.99 – This is such a gorgeous camel suede pillow.  I love the topstitching on it.

Hobby Lobby 1/2 off Sale – $8.99 – I love the Boho vibe this pillow has.  Tons of texture.

They are beginning to carry some of the best pillow covers.

Tuesday Morning – $9.99 – I love plaid and these soft camel colors are my favorites.

Hobby Lobby 1/2 off Sale – $8.99 – This one is made of Rafia or some kind of fiber.  Interesting.  Very unique.

This one I already had.  I love the camel leather stripe down the middle.

Put them all together with a throw blanket I already had and a whole new room came about.

Since I like to switch things up a bit, how about keeping it really monochromatic.

It’s been overcast so I turned the lights on, sorry.

Neutral color schemes are my favorite and camel is one of my favorite colors.

This was so fun and for just a few dollars.  Thrifty Room Makeover Under $45 – 2 Ways.

Super fun to come home and make a few changes and feel like I have a totally different room.

Have you been out shopping?

I heard Hob Lob was going out of business. That’s too bad as I love strolling thru there, too! I will have to stop by and look at the pillows. Its been ages since I changed things up in our front room. I love the looks of yours!

Just lovely, every single change. Great inspiration. Your walls just glow. Can you share what color the paint is?

Thanks so much. We get fabulous sunlight in these rooms and the 9 ft windows are wonderful too. The whole house is painted Swiss Coffee. It is the perfect white in my opinion. It can go with warm tones or cool tones and look perfect with each. Marty

Marty — just lovely — once AGAIN! Always enjoy your switch-ups and budget friendly too! I hadn’t noticed many pillows (my addiction) at Hobby Lobby. Quick clue as to where in the store you are finding some of these great pillows? Maybe they are covers? THANKS!

Yes, I only buy the covers and they have a whole section of them in the yardage section. In line with the rolls of decorator fabrics. They have come of with some amazing pillows and at 1/2 off they are practically free. All have great zippers too. Marty

Marty – I really love those new pillows! And for sooooo cheap too – wow, you really scored.

I too love monochromatic schemes – with all that texture you nailed it.

I haven’t left my house in almost 5 months – I am high risk and just trying to stay safely out
    of harm’s way……but I am going bonkers.

I hadn’t heard about HL going out of business- gracious I hope not – love love love that store!

I still can’t believe Pier 1 is – one of my fav places, too. A lot more is going to close if things
    don’t get better soon.

    Hugs.

Oh Michele, please stay safe, I worry about you. I think Hobby Lobby was just forced to close some of their stores in some states because of the store shut downs. They are still open here and I haven’t ready anything about them going out of business. Pier l did close here, so I guess they are done. Take care. Marty

I love how you show putting a room together, with pillows and throw and get a whole new look. From monochromatic to full of fun colors, you do such a wonderful job. Thank you for the inspiration.
