Christmas In A Jar – Pinterest Challenge

I am so happy to be joining this wonderful group of ladies for the October Pinterest Challenge hosted by Cindy @ CountryRoad407.

This month’s challenge – Christmas In A Jar – comes from Katrin @ Northern Feeling.  I love how she created a cute country village for her jar.  Such a unique and fun Christmas decoration.

If you are coming over from Follow The Yellow Brick Home, I am sure Amber inspired you as much as she did me.

I thought my glass cloche would serve as a jar for this challenge.

My nativity set is one of my favorite Christmas decorations.  I love showcasing it as my dining table centerpiece.

The lighted crystal garland is stunning and creates a magical setting.

Just as pretty during the day too.

I love using my Nativity as the centerpiece for my Christmas Tablescape too.  This is my table from a couple of years ago.  I think this is the perfect way to share the reason for the season.

Next up on the tour is Laura @ Decor To Adore.  Laura always creates something unique, so I know you will love seeing what she created for her challenge.

Now be sure to check out all the links below to see what my friends are sharing.

Marty of all the things you could put in a Christmas Jar Scene you chose the best of all! How beautifully your vignette highlights the Holy Family! Oh, I love this!!!!! Thank you for reminding us of what we celebrate during the Christmas season!

If I had a manger scene I’d put it under a cloche for all to see as well. I’ve looked for years and cannot find one I like. They all seem cheesy and that’s not for me. I love yours and think your centerpiece turned out beautifully! Thank you for joining in this month. Pinned

Love how you made your Nativity the center of your home, Marty. Great idea to frame it with a cloche; the whole vignette is beautiful!

You’ve got the right idea Marty and have created a beautiful and elegant vignette with the nativity scene. Love the personal touch you added this month.

Love that you spot-lighted the Nativity with your cloche, Marty… that’s the most PERFECT Christmas jar anyone could do! And I love the Cross hanging from the handle, that points to the Ultimate Reason for Christmas! Pinned, and love hopping with you!

Marty, using the nativity scene in the cloche is lovely on your table. It sets the perfect centerpiece with the meaning and the gold colors. Happy to be hopping with you.

Your naivety set is so pretty under the cloche. This is one thing I want to place in our home that I don’t have. I am on a hunt for a naivety set.

Marty, it’s so good to have you back with us. I love that you used a nativity scene for this challenge. It looks so beautiful as the focal point for your Christmas scene, and it’s a good reminder of what this holiday is all about. I wish you and your family many blessings this season.

Marty, I adore what you did with this month’s challenge. It’s so beautiful with the garland going up the stairs.

Loved how you made the Nativity the centerpiece. Years ago, a guest minister challenged us to leave out something Christmas all year long. I had a battery operated anniversary clock (the kind with the glass dome and the 3 swirling balls). Well, the cat knocked the clock over, the balls’ nylon filament broke but the glass survived. It now houses a small white porcelain Nativity set; I smile when I remember to look at it! One of my NS’s has a black bear, a moose, and a wolf added to it; we live in Maine! Casual observers do not “see” the moose among the camels. Yep, warped sense of humor!

Marty this is absolutely gorgeous! I love that Jesus is the center of your display! The lights are so, so pretty too. The woodland deer, angel and other nativity accents are perfect.

So fun joining you for this challenge!
