Welcome to the 2020 Christmas Home Tours. I am so happy to be starting off this season’s tours. I love decorating for Christmas so this is my favorite seasonal tour.
We have 30 fabulous ladies sharing their homes over the next five days. I am sure you are going to love seeing all of them, so mark your calendars so you don’t miss a single one.
This year I went rather casual with my decor. I keep most of the same things I had for fall and decided to decorate around the same color scheme. As you can see, mostly the same pillows I had for my Fall Home Tour.
I changed one out to a pretty Christmas Snow scene pillow my daughter gave me. It is perfect with my color scheme. I love the casual feeling the pillows give the room.
With just a few changes on the coffee table, I switched things out for Christmas. I love my rustic Santa. The rustic floral arrangement was so easy to put together. Some floral picks, a few stems of eucalyptus, antlers, feathers, pearls and it was done.
The tree is pretty casual this year too. Mostly silver and gold balls with a few amber-colored ones mixed in. I love the two different ribbons too.
The side table holds my favorite pair of stocking reindeer and a cute rustic canvas and feather tree.
This room has two-story ceilings, so our 9 ft. tree works perfectly. Just enough and still not overwhelm the room. Our Angel is one we’ve had for years.
This house has a surprise for me every time I put up the tree. At a certain time in the afternoon, the sun shines down from the window in the loft area and makes the angel glow. I always feel like that is a special blessing for us.
I love how things change again as the sun goes down.
I kept the centerpiece part of my Christmas Tablescape and added the two large candle hurricanes. Again a way to re-invent what I have and keeping it simple. My white snow Santa and a silver tree are on top of the wine rack.
On the opposite wall is the entry console. A few shiny trees and some reindeer create a welcoming spot as you enter.
This is your view from the front door. I love seeing the garland on the stairs. It is so pretty when everything lights up at night.
I am enjoying my more laid back casual Christmas Decor this year. It has a relaxing feel to it and I think that is perfect after our hectic 2020 year.
Be sure to check out these 5 ladies also sharing their 2020 Christmas Home Tours today.
