I love having an eat-in kitchen, that seems to be the place that the family gathers most of the time. To me it’s important to have a pretty table setting, however, I don’t want it to be something we have to remove to have dinner. I always try to arrange a pretty center piece that is pretty but low enough that we can still see each other. I love it when the table is full of family and everyone is all talking at the same time.
Since Spring is just around the corner, and our weather has been fabulous, I created a pretty new Spring Table for the breakfast area.
The table is set for 6, however if we have extras I can seat two on each end so it will accommodate 8 easily. I love having a table that is versatile.
I’ve used my favorite two table runners, gold chargers and simple gray and white napkins. The stemless wine glasses will work for wine or any other beverage.
I kept the centerpiece simple.
Two beautiful finials and a pretty bouquet.
The light in this space is always wonderful and there is a great view of the backyard and pool too.
Did you notice I put the two captains chairs back in and moved the wicker chairs to the patio for a change. I love switching things up.
When you have a large tablescape, where do you put the food? Do you do buffet style?
We usually do buffet so everyone can just help themself
Very pretty Marty. xoxo
It looks great Marty, as usual! Love your timeless style.
I love your timeless style too, Marty.
Your table is understated elegance.
And I REALLY like those ladder chairs you have.
Beautiful Marty!
