Welcome to the Spring & Easter Table – Pinterest Challenge hosted by Cindy @ Country Road 407. Each month we have a different theme and inspiration picture to inspire us. Our challenge is to create our version of the theme.
If you are coming over from Cindy’s home, welcome. I am sure you loved her beautiful table as much as I do.
This is our challenge for this month. I love how she created this wonderful table. Our inspiration comes from Hymns and Verses. It is her Birdhouse Tablescape for Spring.
Here is a picture of the entire table setting. It really is pretty and so perfect for Spring and Easter.
We are challenged to take note of her table and recreate our version using some similar items and recreating the theme of her design. She uses a birdhouse to act as her main centerpiece and then adds eggs and flowers to emphasize Spring. I love her mix of bud stems and small flowering plants. She places it all on a burlap-style runner.
I don’t have a birdhouse, so I’ve used a wicker Bee Skep and my collection of Faberge Eggs and Plates to create a Spring table perfect for Spring and Easter. I am also using a bouquet of bud stems and a small green plant. I’ve crisscrossed my table with two burlap-style runners. Since my Faberge collection is a little more formal than her plates, my table is a little more formal.
Each place setting has a beautiful Faberge Egg Plate and Faberge Egg. To follow along with her table setting, she added a nest of eggs on each plate. I added an egg plate to my dinner plate.
Each plate and egg are different. I love how beautiful and different they all are.
I love how pretty this table turned out, however if I am having dinner guests, I think I need a smaller centerpiece for ease of conversation. So I switched back to a bouquet I originally had. I love this pretty bowl of tulips.
I also changed out the stems for a more casual feel. These milky stems look beautiful with the addition of the candlesticks.
It still says Spring and Easter to me and looks pretty with all of my place settings.
If you follow my blog you saw my 2021 Spring Home Tour Part #2 – Living Room here. My tall vase with the Spring Buds was on the coffee table, so I simply put it back. It was fun to borrow it for the inspiration table setting.
I added the rest of the centerpiece to my buffet that sits under the dining room window. It looks great there too.
I shopped my house to use what I had and I think my version is perfect for Spring and Easter too, just like hers. I can’t wait to see how everyone else creates their version of the Inspiration Pic. The beehive is a cute touch! Perfect pair with the yellow flowers.
Your tablescape is gorgeous, Marty! I love how you used a bee skep instead of a birdhouse. I couldn’t stop staring at your gorgeous Faberge eggs and plates. They are so pretty! There is a Faberge exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA. I’ve been kind of obsessed with the beauty of Faberge after seeing that exhibit.
Marty, you had such a lovely take on our inspiration photo! I love your wicker bee skep you used since you didn’t have a birdhouse!
Marty, those plates are beautiful! Such a classy and elegant look. And I do love the tulips arrangement in the center; really Spring’s it up!
Oh, my! Your Fabergé eggs are stunning, Marty!!! Do they all open? My mother collected ceramic eggs and we also blew eggs and decorated those but they weren’t anything compared to Fabergé eggs… I love your Spring tablescape and how both of your table settings turned out. Both beautiful!!
Enjoy your springtime,
Hugs,
Barb 🙂
Thanks so much. Yes all the eggs do open and have a surprise inside. They really are amazing.
Wowza, both table centerpieces look amazing and how exciting it would be to sit at your table with Faberge eggs! You always do such an amazing job with your vignettes. Thanks so much for being in the hop. Happy Spring!
Those Faberge Eggs are absolutely gorgeous, Marty. Your table looks so elegant, and I love how you showed a few different looks for more/less formal combinations. It’s always nice to see different ways to accessorize. Happy spring!
This is such a beautiful spring Easter table, Marty. I especially love the wicker Bee Skep and your collection of Faberge eggs and plates. Thank you for the inspiration.
Bee skeps are always a ‘go’ for spring decor… and I love the Faberge eggs as your twist from the inspo photo! Lovely!
I looove that bee skep! It adds just the perfect pop of texture.
It wouldn’t be spring without celebrating the bees too! So smart to use your darling bee skep in a centerpiece! What a treat it would be to sit at your elegant table admiring your beautiful Faberge Eggs, plates and dazzling gold accents!
Your table is so amazing! I love that you did bees and your bee skep! I also love the Faberge eggs and plates! It all came together so beautifully!
