2 Easter Tables – 1 Adults & 1 Grands

I am thrilled that I will be hosting Easter this year.  I love to entertain and it’s always so fun to have the family here.  This year we will have 10 of us, so I’ve created 2 Easter Tables – 1 Adults & 1 Grands.

The grands always love having their own table, so I love to create a fun one just for them.   I can seat 4 easily in the Dining area of the living room.  That table is round and I do have 4 leaves for it, so I can seat 12 there, but I think I will just keep it round and seat the grands there.  The breakfast table seats 6 easily, so I will place the adults there.

I love for my tables to match the surrounding decor, so I left the blue, yellow, and white centerpiece I was already using in the dining area.  I just changed up the place settings to be more fun for the grands.

No fancy stems or Faberge Eggs, just some fun blue and white bread and butter place, striped napkins and cute napkin rings.

Two placesettings have duck napkin rings – – –

and two have bunny napkin rings.

The yellow and white tulips look so pretty, I love this arrangement.  I also featured my mother’s favorite china egg from the 40’s.

Here is a peek at the way the table looked before.  You can see the whole post here.

I think the grands will have fun at this table.

The breakfast table is set for the adults with a fun table too.

I love this trestle table.  The top will fold over so it can become a library table and it is such a great size that I can seat 8 here if I have more people.  So versatile.  Sometimes I seat 3 on each side or I can also seat two on each end.  I like having options.  Today I am redoing a previous tablescape just a little.

This bunny tureen is such a fun accessory piece, it’s perfect for a casual Easter table.

I love the whimsy of him, an apple on his back, cabbages and cauliflower around his sides.  So fun.

Again I didn’t reinvent the wheel, just changed out the lanterns and corbel for the fun bunny tureen.  You can see the previous table and post here.

I think the adults will enjoy this fun table too.  I love having a table for both, so much fun and the grands always feel so grown up to have their own table.

I’ve had fun setting 2 Easter Table – 1 Adults & 1 Grands

I hope you all have a fabulous Easter with your family and friends.  In all the fun, please remember the reason for the season.

    Hi Marty
I’m so happy for you that you are hosting your family this Easter. Inspite of your loss you are moving forward. Your family must be so proud of you! I know I am. I think of you often and pray that the Lord will touch your broken heart. Easter is a wonderful Christian celebration! Praise God He is Risen and because He lives we can live and those that have gone on before are waiting. What a wonderful reunion day we will have but now we must carry on and that is His plan for our lives. Dear Lord Jesus please bring Marty everything

So glad you will be surround with family for Easter. That will help with your sadness of missing Jim. Knowing Jim is looking down on all of you and how proud he is that you are trying your best to move forward with your grief and life. Such a hard and almost impossible thing to do sometimes but you my dear are mastering it nicely. May the week be wonderful and your day with family beautiful. Love having a kids table too. Yours will be so fun for the kiddos. Happy Easter. xoxo
