Welcome to Summer Table With Glass Bottle Centerpiece – June Pinterest Challenge hosted by Cindy @ Country Road 407. Each month we have a different theme and inspiration picture to inspire us. Our challenge is to create our version of the theme.
If you are coming over from The Painted Hinge welcome. I am sure you loved her beautiful table with treasured milk glass as much as I do.
Our inspiration this time comes from Karen @ Sanctuary Home as she shares her Summer Table With Glass Bottle Centerpiece. The rules are to look at the inspiration pic and try to interpret the same ideas in your own style.
I absolutely love her table and outdoor dining is a favorite. The beautiful flowers she cut from her yard are stunning. I love the simple arrangement of bottles that she used, they showcase the flowers beautifully.
My challenge was to create a similar style table setting. I didn’t have any bottles (I should stop putting them in the trash), so I found some various small vases at Goodwill. These were perfect to arrange down the center of my farmhouse table. She added candlesticks, and I added small votives. She created a simple tablesetting, so I tried to follow along.
I really like the assortment of vases I found, and my faux flowers look pretty in them. Wish I had something to cut from the garden, but faux work too.
She had a small board with bread and butter. I added a marble and wood board with a croissant, cheese and grapes. (Faux of course, but they look good.)
This was a fun challenge, now be sure to check out Decor to Adore to see her tips for dining outdoors. Then click on all the links at the bottom to see what everyone has shared.

Marty, I love that you’ve used table runners as placemats on your table and the glassware you found ~ perfect! Your table is a lovely recreation with the lovely rust and gold florals. <3
Happy summer,
Barb
Your table turned out so warm and inviting. And the table is gorgeous with it’s twisted legs. Great job on the challenge! Thank you so much for joining us this month. Pinned
Your table reminded me how much I love your idea of using 2 runners down the sides of the tables, rather than placemats. If that would only stay in my gray matter! Beautiful, simple table, Marty. The colors you chose are perfect for your home.
I had to go with faux flowers this time around, too, but yours look beautiful, Marty! I had no idea the fruit was faux until you said something either! Your table is beautifully decorated, and yes…I will now hang onto my glass bottles too.
Love your elegant touch to your tablescape Marty. The cutting board and stripe napkins are such a cute addition!
Your table is so warm and inviting Marty. I love the stripe napkins. Your colors are just beautiful!
So beautifully and French Country, Marty! I love the mustard and white colors for the summer.
Marty, your table is lovely. The glass bottles you found are perfect. I bet you use them quite a bit. I would never have known that the flowers were faux. And you could have definitely fooled me about the croissants and grapes. A very nice touch. Enjoy your pretty table.
Marty, your table is so pretty. I love the simplicity of it and your faux items look very realistic! Love the table runners and napkins too.
The table looks so wonderful and inviting!
Marty, your table is so pretty! You have such a classic stye, and you incorporated it so well in this tablesetting. Beautiful.
