Master Bedroom Makeover. For a while, I have felt like I needed to change up the Master Bedroom a little. Sometimes you just need to switch things up a bit.
Like most bedrooms, there’s only one wall where the headboard can go that makes sense. Then that leaves one wall for the dresser and so it goes. There’s not really a lot I can do, but changing out at least one piece of furniture gave the room a totally different look. Do you see the difference? I switched out the chair.
This is what I’ve had in here for a while – a beautiful tufted leather wing-back.
When you entered the room, you always saw the side of the leather chair. You can see the entire before room here.
Now things look totally different. You see the white chair. The leather chair is now in the living room. I just swapped out the two chairs, but it’s amazing at the difference it made in both rooms.
I love that the room looks more feminine being all white.
I changed out the dresser decor a little too. I added one of the leather pumpkins I just bought. I love the pumpkin and camel colors of the bedding, so the room has taken on a soft fall look.
I like how the bedroom changes worked out. Small changes with big results. A simple Master Bedroom Makeover.
I can’t wait to show you where the leather chair is and the difference it made in that room too. I’ll share the reveal for the 2021 Fall Home Tour in a couple of weeks. Mark your calendar, you don’t want to miss a single tour. Tons of Fall Inspiration.
Changing the chair really lightened up your room! Looks amazing
Your bedroom is so fresh and neat – it inspires me to change up a few things in my own space. I love the touches of Fall. I really need to haul my pumpkins out this week, too!
I love the light colors for fall in your bedroom. So pretty Marty. Have a great new week. xoxo
Love the look in your bedroom. Your small but significant changes make me want to look around and do something too! Thanks for the inspiration.
Indeed the white side chair makes the difference with the former. Such a little thing and yet what an impact! I’ve done the same in moving pictures around the house. What a different look when going about the house! As much as possible, however, placing same size pics in place of another so the walls don’t look like Swiss Cheese after rehanging! lol
Very pretty, light, airy and feminine!
Hi Marty! Oh, your bedroom is lovely and I couldn’t image it looking any prettier than it did, but that white chair just did it! Love your style and your home is lovely. Marty, I stated blogging again – I missed it. But my old blog “Note Songs” was all messed up. All my pictures are gone and I couldn’t even sign it to delete it! So…I started a new blog = My Note Songs and hope you’ll pop in to see me sometimes.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 🙂
