Every season I love to change up my front porch a little. With this house that doesn’t leave me room for much, it really isn’t a porch, more like a stoop. At any rate, I still want something, so I try to add either a wreath or basket to the front door to welcome in the season. Which is your favorite – front door wreath or basket?

I had a basket for spring and summer, so I thought I would keep it up for fall, just refresh it with a new arrangement. Since the house seemed dusty, I gave everything a good wash down with the hose, I was surprised how dusty my topiaries were. The washing really made a huge difference, now they look really dark green again. Yes, they’re faux, but this is a hard place to try and keep plants alive, so faux it is.
The basket got refreshed with some wheat and sunflowers. The bright yellow on the sunflowers brightens up the front door.
Here is a picture I took when I had the Spring Tulip basket on the door. The orange tulips really brightened up the door for Spring.
I like the new arrangement. It looks good from the street and gives the front door a little presence.

Very pretty, I cant believe I haven’t even though of doing any fall decorating yet. I did a major cleaning and purging of all my decor items so I dont have much to work with anymore. Seeing your beautiful basket makes me want to spruce my place up.
