Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays and I love setting a pretty table for the special day. Sometimes I like to go really fancy and sometimes casual. I love a table in-between too. I think my table today is right in the middle, just the way I like it best. Thanks so much to Amber @ Follow The Yellow Brick Home for inviting me to this special Feathered Friends Blog Hop. If you are coming over from Debra’s @ Common Ground, welcome. I am sure you enjoyed Debra’s beautiful display as much as I did. Be sure to check out all the participants at the end of the post.
Since my dining area is connected to my living room, I like to keep the decor cohesive. I used soft camels and plaids in the living room, so I am using the same colors for my table.
I am using my favorite turkey as my Feathered Friend for this party. I’ve had this turkey for years, he looks like he is carved out of wood, but actually, he is some kind of plaster that really looks like wood. I also love that he has just a touch of gold on his back feathers.
Today he is proudly acting as the centerpiece of my Thanksgiving Table.
He is surrounded by some candles, pumpkins, and feathers. Since he looks like wood, I loved the addition of a leather and rafia pumpkin for even more texture.
In keeping with the plaid and camel colors in the living room, I used some plaid napkins on the table.
Next up on the tour is Christy @ Our Southern Home. Her home is always such a favorite, so I know you will love seeing her post too.
That cute turkey centerpiece is certainly something to gobble about. Happy Tuesday sweet friend!
It says the party has ended, with only 7 posts??
It’s a blog hop where we all signed up for this party. Sorry.
Marty, your table looks beautiful with all the fall colors and textures. I think we have the same wine glasses! Great hopping with you again!

I love your colors, your soft camels and plaids! So classy and pretty!
Love these soft warm fall colors, Marty. Your turkey is very handsome and really sets off your beautiful tablescape!
Marty I love your feathered friend and the way you designed an elegant and rustic tablescape around him. Of course I am mad for your plaid touches too! Everything looks so cozy and elegant for the holiday. I hope you enjoy some special time with family and friends gathered around your lovely table!
Thanks so much for joining the hop!
Who gets the turkey butt?! LOL! I wouldn’t mind sitting there since it’s so cute! 😉 Love the warm colors of your centerpiece and how elegant it all looks. I know whoever sits there will think the same thing. Happy Thanksgiving!
