The New Rug Didn’t Work In The Kitchen – Fabulous For The Bathroom. If you are like me, sometimes things I see online and purchase look a little different when they get to me. I ordered a new rug for the kitchen thinking it was a soft gray background with a darker gray pattern. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen so I wanted a nice soft rug to stand on. I wanted one that would span this whole area between the peninsula and the island. Well, when it got here, it was a ton of white. Now the rug is gorgeous, but that white is not going to work in the kitchen. The size is perfect, just not the colors. The size is 4 x 6 so I wondered if it might work upstairs in the master bathroom. Our master is a small galley type and I love having a rug to stand on when I get out of the shower. So upstairs I went and removed the rug I was using and tried out the new rug. It works perfectly and looks wonderful in here. The rug I was using in the bathroom worked great for the kitchen, so now both rooms look their best.
