Update Your Bathroom With Accessories.  I still love the Hall Bathroom Makeover that we did in 2019.  We went from total builder grade to semi-custom on a budget.  This was the bathroom Jim chose as “his”.  It is located right next to our bedroom door, so super convenient to use.  Each of us having our own bathroom was so nice, it made getting ready so much easier.  I dressed his bathroom with a few masculine accessories, and things haven’t changed much.  Time to update the accessories a bit.

I thought this bathroom should be a little more guest friendly, so I swapped out a few accessories.  This is what it looked like before the makeover.  Totally builder grade.

This is what it looked like right after the makeover.  A new vanity, toilet, mirror, light, shelves and it looked like a new bathroom.

This is how it looks now with a few accessory changes.

The top shelf is geared more for a gentleman.  Some cologne and an antique shaving stand.  The middle shelf is for a lady.  I had the sponges, so I took one of my glass vases and added a few.  I also had the soaps and sample bottles of shampoo, cleansers, and face moisturizers, so I created an assortment on a brass tray.   Then I played around with a few more contemporary accessories.  I think this looks less masculine and better for a female or gentleman.

P.S.  If you are like me you change things up all the time.  As I walked around the other day I saw this great black orb that I had in the laundry, so I just had to try it in here and replace the plant.  I love the addition of more black, so this might stay for a while.

 

I love the new look, it looks fresh and up to date.  It’s really nice when you can change up a room by swapping out a few accessories.  I just looked through my stash and borrowed a couple of things from other areas and that was all I had to do.
