I am in the mood to lighten up and brighten up everything for summer. The really warm summer months in Phoenix always have me wanting to declutter and go for something as minimal as I can. The Master Bedroom got all of its linens changed the other day. (you can see the changes I made in my 2022 Summer Home Tour – Part 2 coming up this week.) So now it is time for a Master Bathroom Summer Refresh.
Our bathroom is sort of a galley bathroom. You walk into the first part that has the vanity and tub – – – -(yep that’s me in the reflection of the medicine cabinet)
then to the right of the vanity is a door that leads you into the room that holds the toilet and walk-in shower.
There’s not a lot to decorate in here except the vanity, so I change that up every once in a while. This is the round tray I’ve had for a while.
As I cleaned I just felt like we needed to clean things up and clean off the counters for summer. So a simple rectangle tray holds just a few daily basics. I love the orchid plant so it stayed. This small change alone felt like a Master Bathroom Summer Refresh.
I also purged some of the things on the other side of the sink. Now we have a cleaner look for the vanity and a much less cluttered feeling.
Even simple things like turning the towel around to show the white side made a difference.
Now it feels fresh and a lot more minimal to me for summer. If you would like to see how we took this from orange wood vanity with Formica and totally builder basic to semi-custom for only $48.00, check out this post.
This master bath always looks great, Marty. Enjoy your summer!
The bathroom looks fab. I love the granite texture on the counter top and the flowers are so pretty.
I could use your help with my master bathroom. haha! I love that vanity, my friend. 🙂
It looks lovely. Happy Summer.
