Since I have been blogging for years, it is fun to sometimes visit some of the projects and posts I did a few years ago. One of my favorites is A Blast From The Past dated July 1, 2018. It features the Guest Bedroom Makeover I did in our previous home and has been one of my most all-time pinned makeovers. It started with a room that held some of my youngest son’s things as a storage room. When he got his new home, I turned it into a Guest Bedroom using a ton of antiques I had from another blast from the past style that I use to love. Using what I had on hand and finding some fun linens and decor items at Goodwill, this turned into a fun Guest Bedroom. First chore was to give the room a good cleaning and then paint. Next was to make some curtains with leftover fabric and add the bed and a couple of furniture pieces. Add some thrifted bedding and it is starting to look like a country bedroom. To see how you can use country antiques like a kitchen work table, hosier cabinet, lawyers bookcase, and assorted antique accessories to create a bedroom, check out my Blast From The Past post. Welcome to Home & Decor Encore! My friends and I have been blogging for many years, so we have a ton of fabulous content from the past. Home & Decor Encore is where we dig into our archives and bring back some old posts that we can update and make fresh or ones you might have missed or are new to you! Doreen from Hymns and Verses keeps it all put together and us all organized. Be sure to check out what my friends are sharing this week.
