My family room, kitchen, and breakfast area run across the entire back of the house. When I start to think about decorating it usually means this entire area needs to be addressed. Sometimes I can keep some of my decor in the family room and kitchen, just change up the breakfast area. I am ready to add a bit of fall decor to the house, so I started with Fall In The Breakfast Room.
As I was looking through my stash of decor, I saw all the pumpkins and pretty fall things, but I really loved the berry garland when I saw it. So bright and cheery and such pretty fall colors. That just seemed like the place I needed to start.
Since I’ve been using some soft camel colors in the family room and some yellows and rust in the kitchen, I thought this would work without having to switch out the decor in these two other areas too.
Since the breakfast area is on the back side of the kitchen, I thought it could be a little brighter and jazz up the whole area.
Orange napkins, pumpkins, gourds, and the berry garland just created such a happy table. A little bright, but how fun and happy.
The lantern and a few plants seemed to soften things a bit.
This is fun for now. I have company for dinner so this will be fun to brighten up this corner of the house. My Fall Home Tour is coming up in a few weeks, so maybe I’ll think about using a little orange in the family room and kitchen for fall too.
How about you, are you itching to use some bold fall colors too?
Such pretty fall decor! I love all of the bright colors and you styled it beautifully! Thank you for sharing at Tuesday Turn About!
Very pretty fall decor Marty! Love your office chair too. I have a similar one!
