Christmas Nativity Tablescape

I always try to make sure in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Christmas to remember the reason for the season.  The Birth of our Lord.  I have a beautiful Nativity set that i inherited from my mother-in-law that I love to put out on display.  I also think it is perfect for a Christmas Nativity Tablescape.

Placing the Nativity set in the middle of the dining room table is not where most people would expect to see it.  In the past, it’s been on almost every table in the house.  Anywhere that makes me feel like it has a prominent spot.  This year I thought I would again use it as the centerpiece for our dining room tablescape.

Mary and Joseph are looking at Baby Jesus under the cloche.  These are beautiful china pieces that have such beautiful detail.  Two wise men are sitting on the runner on the side of the cloche.  One beautiful Angel statue stands watch over all of them.  I added a couple of trees and a gilded reindeer to finish off the centerpiece.

The table setting is white plates over gold chargers.  Gold flatware, and gold salad plates.  Wine and water goblets with gold trim finish off my Christmas Nativity Tablescape.
