I always love to join a great group of ladies for a fun home tour. Today I am joining in for a Cozy Winter Home Tour hosted by Amber @ Follow The Yellow Brick Home. She has gathered some of my friends together to share a really diverse group of home styles. Something for everyone no matter what your style.
Our New Year started off with a week full of rain right after Christmas and continued on into the new year. The rain finally stopped so I was able to get a few pictures to share with you. It’s still a little gloomy outside, so I had to leave all the lights on. Even with the lights, it looks Cozy don’t you think?
If you are coming over from Amber’s home, I know you loved her gorgeous cozy home with her touches of blue. Seems like we all think alike, I chose blue for my home too.
Our entry gets some great light from the living room lamps even on dark days.
I decided to keep my decor really simple and understated all over the house. That feels really refreshing after all the overflow of Christmas.
I love it when Santa brings me some new pillows and this year he brought me a fun whimsical fairytale garden print pillow. It was fun adding some soft blue with it for an icy cozy feel.
I really wanted a paired-down, not-too-fussy room to start the New Year off.
I love my blue clay cross, so I kept the coffee table really simple.
Just a few candles, a plant, and my cross.
I think this turned out really soft and simple to start off a New Year.
The dining area is part of the living area space, so I set it with complimentary colors.
All of my family are just getting home from out-of-town trips to visit inlaws, so I set the table with a pretend New Year’s dinner. I kept the same place setting that I used at Christmas and just changed out the centerpiece. Again keeping it simple with a few plants and some candles.
I added a bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner.
This has been fun to change up a few rooms after Christmas and give the house a whole new feel.

So cozy and inviting with the blue added to neutrals. Did Santa mention where he hpgot that adorable dark flora and fauna pillow?
