The other day I was busy creating a new Easter Tablescape in the breakfast area, so of course one thing leads to another and I decided the kitchen needed a little love too. I switched things up a bit to feel more like spring. Time for a little Spring Kitchen Love.
Adding a few whimsical items to the counters is fun for a change. I guess there will always be a kid in me.
This is the workhorse area of my kitchen. I spend most of my time here, either prepping or actually cooking. So this area always gets some favorite decor that makes me happy to look at. I filled my antique scales with some fun fruit. I have my pig cutting board behind the range top. He is truly whimsical, but I love hime.
A staple that is always here is my brass tray filled with essentials and of course how fun is my little drunken chef.
I really do like this scale with fruit. This was a fun find on a thrifting lunch date with a friend years ago. She and I usually found the neatest things when we were together.
I did a basket tray arrangement for my island. This one is rather whimsical but fun. A silver camel covered butter dish is fun and unexpected for sure.
This looks happy and fun to me. You know how it goes, I will probably change it again in a week or so.
You sound like me, mixing things up one way or another! That camel covered butter dish is so unique! What a fun little accent to have displayed!
