These past couple of years have seen so many changes for all of us. We all need to have time together to count our Blessings and Thank the Lord for all He has done. Each Holiday we are learning to live with loss and cherish the memories of our loved ones that have gone to be with the Lord. Losing Jim 2 1/2 years ago has been hard. Every day I give thanks for the 36 years we had together. We all love and miss him so much. In January of last year, we lost our oldest son. Chuck was such a loving and caring person and the most wonderful son and brother anyone could ever ask for. Losing him to a sudden illness has been devastating. Both Jim and Chuck have left an empty hole in our hearts. Two losses in such a short time have been hard, but we were so blessed to have both in our lives and thank God for such cherished memories that we hold so dear.
Easter is the time to thank God for all our Blessings. I pray your day will be filled with His love, tons of family and friends, and fun and laughter abundantly.
Happy Easter Marty

Hello Marty,
Since I wasn’t getting your posts, I didn’t know you lost your son also. I am so sorry for your loses. It was right after Jim’s passing that the posts dropped off.
We know not what the Lord’s plans are but we do know that they are perfect and one day we will understand it all. I also, have had some loses that I, after many years, still can’t figure out.
YES! Easter is a perfect time to reflect on all that the Lord has done for us and to keep the faith that HE has it all under control.
Blessings your way.
I hope you had a truly wonderful Easter celebration, Mary.
Hugs! ♥
