I love all of our Seasonal Home Tours, they are always so fun, and it is so fun to change things up around the house and see how I can create a new look for several rooms. Just around the corner in June, will be Summer Home Tour Time.
When I start to redecorate for each tour, I love to look back over the last few years and see how I decorated. It is usually a little surprising at how I switch things up.
Let’s Start with my 2018 Summer Home Tour.
This was our first year here in this house and I was still trying to figure out what furniture worked and what didn’t. I used a blue/gray and camel color combination. (I also didn’t have my new camera yet, so the pictures aren’t very good.)
I was working with different furniture pieces for the 2019 Summer Home Tour.
A new coffee table and a different mirror, things were starting to look more Transitional. Notice my love of Blue.
The room arrangement stayed pretty much the same for the 2020 Summer Home Tour.
Looks like I am still in a Blue Mood.
By this time I have the basics for the room the way I like. 2021 Summer Home Tour.
Soft pale Tiffany Blue seemed to be calling my name.
2022 Summer Home Tour. The room definitely feels like me and makes me feel at home. Nice to have the furniture pieces and accessories that I like.
Once again I am in a Blue Mood. This time Dark Navy Blue Velvet.
I must admit that I was surprised to see that I used Blue every year. I hardly ever use that color. I love to wear blue, but it is not my favorite color for home decor. I usually go for warmer tones.
Ok, now to figure out something that isn’t Blue for my 2023 Summer Home Tour.
