Master Bath Decor & Refresh

Master Bath Decor & Refresh.  I love to take a look at a room and see how I can refresh it from time to time.  As I looked around I thought maybe it was time to take a look at the Master Bath.  It’s one of the most used rooms in the house, so maybe a little refresh was needed.

The master bathroom in this house is kind of a galley bathroom that was really popular in the late 90’s.  Not huge, but very functional.   My home was built in 2005, so that style was still popular.   It is open to the master bedroom with a large curved open doorway.

The bathroom is two parts.  The doorway on the right opens to the toilet and shower.

From the shower doorway, you see the tub on the left side of the vanity.  When I find towels that I like, I usually buy two or three sets.  I did that with these fun polka-dot towels.  I think they add a little whimsy to the bathroom.  I love the little girl painting too, she adds a touch of elegance that I like.

I try to keep my accessories to a minimum on the counter.  On this side, I have my Kleenex, soap, and a clock.

A pretty faux orchid, makeup brushes, a candle, and a small tray holding my favorite colognes are all I need on this side.  The drawer storage below holds all of my makeup.  I like to do my primping next to the window so I have natural light and I love that fabulous magnifying mirror so I can see what I am doing.

A Simple Bathroom Decor & Refresh makes this room feel fresh and new again.

We did a mini makeover when we moved in.  You can see that makeover here.  It looks totally different on a tiny budget.

It looks just lovely. Our master bath is similar and this place was built in the 70s. We removed the tub and put a large walk-in shower in for my hubby. You did a nice refresh! Hugs- Diana

I love that you made the tub area beautiful on its own without hiding it behind a curtain. It make the whole area look a little more elegant and spa-like. A very pretty bathroom!

I really love the granite you chose when you did your first remodel – and Marty, you re-staining and adding that hardware to your cabs still looks amazing. Some new towels and a little refresh is exactly what our rooms need sometimes. Looks great. It’s a wonderful bathroom!
