7 Easy & Unusual Fall DIY Hurricane Candle Decor Ideas. I love joining Cindy @ County Road 407 monthly for her fun Pinterest Challenge. She gets a bunch of gals together and shows them an inspirational picture she finds on Pinterest. We all see how we can recreate something similar from the inspiration photo. It’s so fun to see all the amazing ideas everyone comes up with.
This is what she’s given us for August. Kelly @ Live Laugh Rowe shared how to make a budget version of her DIY Pottery Barn Inspired Hurricane Candle.
My takeaway from this pretty hurricane is the use of fall berries, leaves, twigs and pinecones to creat a nest for a pretty candle.
I have several hurricanes, but only one small one that is similar to hers, so I filled it with a pretty candle, some leaves and berries to create my own version,
This adds some pretty fall color to my entry. I especially love to use candles during the fall season and I have several large hurricane candle holders that I use on a regular basic.
I love to use hurricane holders all over the house. They are perfect for all kinds of different candle arrangements. I thought I would share one that I am currently using on my living room coffee table. You can see more of this room with my Summer To Fall With Simple Changes post. This tall hurricane has a companion that is just a little smaller. I use them as singles or in pairs.
I love the one Kelly shared, but I also love to think outside the box and try different types of hurricane holders. Here 7 Easy & Unusual Fall DIY Hurricane Candle Decor Ideas.
Here is another pair that I like to use. Sometimes I just use l and other times I use two.
Simple glass containers found at he $1 Store make pretty hurricanes too.
Look around for all kinds of different hurricane candle holders and switch things up. They are fabulous to use almost anywhere.

So many beautiful ways to use candles and hurricanes throughout your home, Marty! They’re truly versatile and definitely something everyone no matter the budget can use for seasons to come. Hope your summer-to-fall transition is a special one, CoCo.
I like to put small thick candles (spice scent is nice) into a bowl filled with coffee beans. Then you also get the scent of the coffee beans when the candle burns.
Oh my goodness! So many great ideas, Marty. So much fun hopping with you today. Happy Fall!
I love that you have so many ideas and each one is unique and beautiful! And they all work so well together. When I was digging out one to use I asked myself why do I have so much crap?! I need to purge but it’s hard! Especially when I see how you’ve used yours in so many wonderful ways. Maybe I should tell myself I should be sharing the love and give them away already decorated? Hmmm. Thanks for joining us! pinned
