As you all know, I love my kitchen. Since our family room/kitchen/breakfast room is all one long space at the back of the house, I spend a ton of time in this area of our home. With Fall right around the corner I hope, I changed up the kitchen a bit. Sometimes, I like Country, sometimes I like Elegant and sometimes I like Classy. When you enter the back of the house, the kitchen and breakfast area are on the left and the family room is on the right. I still love how our kitchen remodel turned out. It’s not a huge space, but since we have a huge walk-in pantry, this is more than enough kitchen space.
This back wall area with the range is one of my favorite decorating spots. I try not to get it too cluttered, but it’s fun to have some of my favorite things out.
My pig cutting board was a gift from a friend years ago, so I love to put it on display.
A thrifted brass tray holds my oils and everyday tools on this side of the range. I love how you can find some really amazing trays at thrift shops and just a little polish makes them look new.
I love to bake, so I keep my mixer out all the time. It fits perfectly in this corner. My little drunk chef is usually out, he’s just so cute.
The island in the center gives me extra workspace and is a favorite spot to decorate.
I usually try to keep the island decor to just a tray or basket. Since I love my scales, I pulled it out of my stash and filled it will fall fruit. This creates such a pretty colorful spot in the kitchen.
