Tuesday is cleaning day. It always feels so good when the house is cleaned and everything is in place. Yesterday after I finished upstairs, I snapped a couple of photos of my bedroom. After all the hustle and bustle of Christmas, I love having things stripped down, and simplified. I kept the bed really simple.
White quilt, neutral pillows and just the camel shams and quilt for color.
The dresser is really plain too. Just my favorite pictue of Him and I and a simple bouquet.
The bathroom counters are simplified too. Just the basic essentials.
I had to laugh when I saw this picture. I was trying to show the pretty orchid plant and didn’t even think about me being in the picture. The light from the window makes my shirt look like it is half stripe. Funny picture, but me in the “real”.
The loft and my office is ready for anothe week too.
As I headed downstairs, I couldn’t help but snap a picture over the railing. I love this view.
Now to enjoy my clean house. Wishing you a great day too.

You have a beautiful home!! The Orchid in your bathroom is so pretty. I had Orchids in my previous home. My current bathroom doesn’t have windows so I have to go with artificial ones.

It’s so refreshing to see photos of a neat and tidy bedroom, bathroom, and house. There’s something so peaceful about a simplified, clutter-free space. I love how bright and airy everything looks with the neutral decor allowing the natural light to shine through. It’s also nice that you kept personal touches like favorite photos on display. Cleaning can be such a chore sometimes but the sense of calm and organization you feel afterward makes it worthwhile.
