How To Add A Little Spring All Around The House. Living in the desert we don’t have much of a winter, but we do get some cooler temperatures and some rain. At the end of February, we usually have a lot of rain, so we are more than ready for March and some Spring Weather. My home is not large, so I like for the colors and mood of each room to flow well together. My style is transitional, so I can either go a little more traditional or a little more contemporary. For this coming Spring, I think I will use a soft pallet of peach and camel with white and lean more into a soft contemporary feel.

I like to start upstairs and my loft office is a favorite space in the house, so a fun place to start. This is where a go to watch a favorite TV program, work on my blog, or just veg and read a book. Since I will be using peach and camel as my colors , I decided to go a little more to the camel colors in here. The settee is a pretty camel color, so I mixed some soft beige/peach pillows with a pretty camel and gray pillow. The throw blanket has both peach and camel in it.
As you can see in the mirror, there is a wall of bookcases across from the settee and a small television, so everything thing I need is right here.
I use this antique gateleg table as my desk. I added a small bookcase to house all the essential daily things I might need. Printer and more desk necessities are in the bookcase.
This is the view as you come up the stairs. Not a large space, but a perfect place to call my own.
Next I will share the Master Bedroom. It is so easy to add a bit of camel to brighten up the room for Spring.
