Patriotic Front Porch

Today I am joining a great group of ladies sharing our Patriotic Front Porches.  Cindy @ County Road 407 hosts a monthly Pinterest Challenge.  This is where she fnds a fabulous picture on Pinterest that she likes and then asks us to create our version of the same theme.

Our gorgeous porch photo comes from Worthing Court.  Suzy has talent galore and her front porch is definitely patriotic.  I love it all.

My home doesn’t really have a front porch, more like just a stoop.  There’s not much room for a lot of decor.

Even though it is small, I still like to decorate for the different seasons and holidays.

Red white and blue flowers, a few flags and it looks like the 4th to me.

Dollar Tree carries lots of fun decor items for every holiday.  I found these pretty red and blue flowers and the amazing bow there.   I just added them to my basket of white flowers I already had hanging on the door.

I would love to have room on the porch for a bench or small table, but since I don’t I like plants.  These are faux, but they look really good.  I just placed a few flags in the planter and hung a small “God Bless America” sign I found at the Dollar Tree.

I am proud to be an American and this is just enough to let the world know.

If you came over from French Ethereal, welcome, I loved her porch so much and I know you will too.

Next be sure to check out Decor to Adore.  Even during construction, Laura can pull any design off.

Happy summer to you, Marty! I love your front porch area and how you’ve added just a few Americana touches with the sweet patriotic basket to your front door and a few flags. It’s just enough! 🙂

Our first home in California and this one here in Texas both have porch stoops and yes, it is sooo hard to decorate them since they are narrow! I finally just busted forward off the front porch and brought in big planters. That has helped me in my need to put out fun decor. 😉 Having the big trees out front has helped in that regard, too.

Wishing you a happy Independence day,
    Barb 🙂

Everything looks festive and not overwhelming with just the right amount of class. I especially like the little truck. It’s fun to see how many elements we can pull from one photo and each space looks so different. I love the Pinterest Challenges and I’m excited you join in. Thank you! pinned

Hi, Marty. I don’t have a front porch either so a patriotic wreath has to do. Your front door basket is perfect for any patriotic holiday. The faux boxwood topiary is a great solution to having greenery and you don’t have to water it. Happy 4th.
