Beige Is The Trendy New Neutral

Beige Is The Trendy New Neutral.  I have always been partial to beige, brown, camel and off white.  Those colors just seemed so easy to live with to me.  I have enjoyed the gray trend that went around, however, I am happy to see the beige, brown colors making a return.

The second advantage for me is it goes so well with my homes colors.  The tile in my living/dining are is a beige and cream marble.  My walls are Swsis Coffee and the wood floors are a medium brown.   Anything in the brown family goes really well in this home.

I like to add a bit of camel with my beige or brown tones.  I think it gives a room a happy glow.

Texture changes all of these beige/cream tones just a bit.

Camel is so perfect with any color beige, or off white.

Simple beige runners continue on the dining table too.

I will always love using beige, camel and off white in my home.  It speaks to my soul.

I am a warm neutral girl too – but for color it’s always green for me. I think warm neutrals will always be timeless. I never bought into the grey colors.
My daughter wanted a grey bedroom once years ago and I absolutely hated it. (So did she after a short time living with it.) So – yay warm neutrals!

Your home is so inviting and calming.

I have always appreciated your sense of style and use of the warmer tan/neutral colors. I also like natural wood tones, whether mahogany, oak, maple etc. You work the darker wood in with the neutral fabrics so well. My decor has a lot of color right now, mostly blues and reds. If I ever redo my living room and dining area, my inspiration photos would be those of your home. Everything is so nicely curated.

What a lovely compliment. Thank you so much. That makes my day. I love playing in my home and changing things around and these are my favorite colors to play with, so it’s always special to me. Thanks again, Marty
