Moody Fall In The Loft

Moody Fall In The Loft.  Our upstairs loft is one of my favorite places in the house.  It’s my girl/cave/office.  When we moved in it wound up being the perfect place for all the leftover furniture that didn’t fit anywhere else.  As luck would have it, all those pieces were just meant for this room.  A great bookcase entertainment wall unit, fabulous little sette, leather char, gate-leg table, small bookcase and my office chair.  This immediately turned into my sanctuary.  I claimed it as my girl/cave/office.

When you come up the stairs, it’s the space just to the right of the landing.

This little corner became the perfect spot for the gate-leg table, small bookcase and my office chair.  It’s the perfect office spot.

The small settee and leather chair finished off the wall.  Now I had a great place to curl up and read or watch my favorite tv program.  The basket trunk made a fabulous coffee table.

I added a plaid throw blanket and some of my favoite pillows and it feels like home.

I filled the wall in with a painting and a few antique clocks.

The wall across from the settee holds my fabulous bookcase entertainment center.  Tons of storage for office supplies, movies, tapes and of course the TV.

I think you’ll agree, this little room is perfect for me.

Switching up this space is so much fun.  I love how easy it is to change the feel of this room.  This is how things have looked for a while.  I love the mirror here, but it looks equally as nice in the family room where I have it now.  You can see more of this room before here.
