How To Set Up A Small Hot Chocolate Bar

I think a Hot Chocolate Bar is just about perfect for the holidays.  All the kids love it and I like Hot Chocolate too.  Today I thought I would share my take on How To Set Up A Hot Chocolate Bar.

I haven’t had a Hot Chocolate Bar for years, so this was a fun one for me.  I just recently set up a Dessert Coffee Bar.  Since we are a coffee-drinking family, adding some flavored syrups to our favorite coffee – hot or cold – is something we enjoy.

I thought I would just expand a little on what I have going on and add my Hot Chocolate Mixes to the same tray.  I don’t have a ton of counter space, so keeping it all together in one spot worked great for me.  If you’ve been following me you have seen my kitchen many times.  I love it – small but very functional.  (The saving grace for my kitchen is the really large walk-in pantry and large dish-room that I have. Spoiled I know.)

I use this section of my kitchen for our coffee.  All the necessary cups, sugar, and creamer are in the cabinet above.  Perfect spot to add the Dessert and Hot Chocolate Bar.

This small marble tray holds my Flavored Syrups, so I added some really cute Dollar Tree jars to hold the Hot Chocolate Mix and Mini Marshmallows.  A glass is perfect for the peppermint canes that act as a stir stick and add flavor all at the same time.

Hubby had a holiday label, so he printed one out for the Hot Chocolate Jar.

Of course, I had to treat myself to a nice hot mug topped with some whipped cream and a few mini chocolate chips.

Now I think I am all set for anyone that would like either a flavored coffee or a nice hot chocolate.  If you have a small space you can create your own coffee bar with just a couple of jars from the Dollar Tree.  It doesn’t have to be big and lavish to still be fun.

I like the idea of adding hot chocolate to a coffee bar. I don’t usually think about that.

This is really cute Marty. I love hot cocoa especially when it starts to snow here. Very sweet and cute. Happy Thursday.

Marty, your coffee bar reminds me of our trip to the game reserves in South Africa. About halfway through our game drives each day the rangers would find a safe spot in the bush to pull the vehicle over, and proceed to make my favorite drink – a “Ranger Special” – which was French press coffee, cocoa, and a little Amarula liqueur….SO good! Would love to see pics of your dish room … what a great idea! Merry Christmas!

Your Ranger Special sounds amazing. I am sure I would like that. You can see how I made over the dish room to hold some throws and pillows too on this post. – – -https://www.astrollthrulife.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=11552&action=edit&classic-editor

I just love this, Marty. So inviting. I have limited counter space, but now I want to dedicate some of it to doing this myself! Thanks for sharing it at the TFT party. 🙂

This is such a good idea, Marty! I love coffee, but only drink it in the morning. But a cup of hot chocolate would hit the spot just about any time of day or night. Thanks for demonstrating that this can be done even in a small space.

Thanks so much for joining the Grace at Home party at Imparting Grace. I’m featuring you this week!
