Spring In The Girl/Cave/Office. When we bought this house I knew the loft area was where I would put my office – however I never imagined I would spend so much time in here. I didn’t have an office in the previous house, I just used the buffet in the breakfast area as my desk.
Using the loft area I was able to create the perfect deck setup and work area.
I like being in the center of the action so I know what is going on, so being able to see half the house from the loft makes me feel like I am in the middle of things. This is my view from my desk.
It’s not a huge space, but it totally fits all my needs.
The space measures 11 1/2 ft. x 14 1/2 ft. Large enough to create an office area and a retreat space.
This space came together pretty quickly with all the leftover things from our last house. It’s funny how that works sometimes. All the odd-ball things just seemed to work. This mirror is so perfect on the wall and it highlights the entertainment center on the opposite wall.
This unit is fabulous for all kinds of storage, the TV and even all my office needs too. If I have a special show that I want to watch, I can sit in the leather chair curled up with a cup of coffee, tea or wine and have my own little space.
This gate-leg table and the small bookcase function as the perfect little office space.
From my office chair, I can see TV, listen to music or look over the railing and see half of the downstairs. I love this view.
