I am thrilled to be starting off the 2019 Spring Home Tours. This week we will have 30 homes open their doors to share their beautiful decor. Each day will feature 6 fabulous homes. If you are here from Nesting With Grace, welcome. I am sure you love her Spring as much as I do. You can see the full line up at the end of the post and an introduction to the other 5 homes on today’s tours.
Welcome To My Home
I love this view just inside our front door. It shows how open our home is. You can see upstairs and all the way out the back to the patio and yard. When we were house hunting, I wanted a really open home with just a little definition between spaces. This was the closest house I found.
The first thing you see on the left hand side is our entry table.
This is one of the places where I always have fun changing up the vignettes.
I love this really tall cloche and today it is highlighting a marble book and a fun magnifying glass.
I am still really thrilled with my DIY Art Makeover. I think it has just enough color and is still neutral.
To the right tucked around the corner is our living room.
Pink is still such a hot design color whether it is blush pink or hot pink. I kept seeing all the pink flowers in the stores this spring so I couldn’t resist adding a bit to my living room. I’ve had these velvet hot pink pillows for a couple of years, so I pulled out one and added it in with my new glitzy pillows that I recently made.
Pink and gray mixed with a sequin pillow and a really fabulous throw created a super glamorous room. So for Spring I am going with Girly Glam.
I love the soft pink of the tulips.
I kept the coffee table really simple with just the tulips, a pretty bowl and a candle.
This pretty hot pink scarf is the perfect match to the pillow and I love this pretty sequin pillow too. I had enough of this fabric to make the square one for the sofa and this small lumbar.
The Hot Pink definitely makes a statement.
I love a neutral room that you can easily change, so I have a couple other variations that I might use from time to time. If you aren’t into Pink how about Navy Blue.
Switch out the tulips and a couple of pillows and you have a totally different room.
or we can go really pastel – – –
This only took one pillow switch for the sofa.
I even did the room in Green too .
What ever mood you are in and depending on what you like. It is so easy to change a room with just a few pillow swaps if you have everything else neutral.
I think for now I am going with Girly Glam in Pink for a while.
Next up on the tour is –
Setting For Four – Heather’s style is a bit Farmhouse, Contemporary, Transitional and GORGEOUS. I know her Spring will be fabulous.
Cuckoo4Design – Julia always inspires me with her style. I love that she uses a fabulous sofa in her dining area.
Pink Peppermint Design – Tammy spent the last year remodeling her “fixer upper” and turning it into a showplace. Style and Ideas galore to enjoy.
Southern Hospitality – Rhoda has been busy giving her new home tons of personal touches. Tradition with a modern twist and it is stunning.
Nesting With Grace – Brooke’s style is amazing. She has turned her cozy cottage into the most amazing home filled with tons of ideas that will inspire you for days.

Ciao ,it is awesome . thanks
Your room is very nice. I love what you did with the art by making it your own colors too. Now, on to your living room space. The furnishings are great and interchangeable which is nice but…the piece that is above the window…not sure if it’s wood but it looks as if it is. I just think that needs to be either wood color or painted gold. It would really make that room pop.
