Well I have been discussing and deciding about this huge mirror ever since we moved into this house 1 1/2 yrs ago. As you all know I even did a poll on whether it should stay or go. It just didn’t seem to fit this house and even though a lot of you thought it should be turned vertically and give it a try, I just finally thought it had to go.
So here is the last look at the mirror in this room. Not sure what is going to be a filler for this space for now, so that has me a little stumped.
But here is how it is going to sing it’s farewell song.
I have no idea what I am going to put on this big two story wall. Maybe a gallery, or a larger painting or another mirror. Not a clue. I guess it will be blank for a while.
I really want to take this room into a more transitional style and not so much into the hard traditional. I am still very much traditional at heart, but maybe take it into a little softer more classic look. So a few end table changes might take place too along with a few accessory changes. Time to update this room.
Stay tuned, I will show you how we are progressing as things move along.
