I know it is the end of summer for most parts of the country, however here in the desert, we will have warm temperatures all the way through September. So when I was thinking about changing up and refreshing the master bedroom, of course cool all white came to mine.
A white spread, shams and pillows with just a touch of soft beige. I love a mixture of white, cream and beige.
It is so nice to be able to make up the bed and see it pretty again. Ever since I had my surgery on June 26th, this is what my bed has looked like. I have been on strict orders to NO BLT (Bend-Lift-Twist). Also at first I couldn’t twist around and get into bed since our bed is so tall, so hubby made me a platfom to help me get into bed.
Our bedspread and all the pillows I did have on the bed have been neatly stacked over here under the window.
I only have 5 more weeks of physical therapy and I am sort of semi-normal. That means I can bend a little and have more movement, so I decided it was time to make up the bed.
Everything was cleared out and I started from scratch.
It’s fun to shop the house and use some of my favorite pillows
The ottoman got a pretty pillow too. This is where I sit and put on my shoes every day, I really enjoy this space.
The top of the dresser got a few fresh accessories too. All white here also.
Now I feel like we are more normal and I love walking in and seeing a pretty made bed.
(First thing on my to do list when I can is paint that jewelry armoire. It is now starting to bug me. haha )
