Boy is this year flying by already to you? Seems like it should just be the first of January and here we are into the second week of February already. You guys really aren’t letting any grass grow under your feet, you have been super busy creating, diy-ing, crafting and cooking. I can’t keep up. Here are a few things from last week.
Since so many have been freezing with all the snow this year, I really enjoyed this post from White Arrows on how to cozy up your home for winter. I just want to live in her log cabin, it is totally unreal.
I love a pretty space, but haven’t ever done a coat closet. Sprinkled with Color took the closet under their stairs and turned it into the most amazing coat closet. Room on one side with a rod to hold all their coats, and then the hooks and shelves on the other side hold all the backpacks, scarfs, mittens and anything else you need to have at hand. I love it. How nice to see something pretty when you open the door.
There were a lot of links to the $100 Room Challenge and I loved them all. Be sure to check them out. This one by Neli Design caught my eye. She did a complete makeover on her familyroom. Love how she added the shelves and redid the fireplace.
It still amazes me at what a little paint and wallpaper can do to totally change a room. Rever en couleur totally changed the look of her laundry room with her choice of paint and paper. Now I would love to do laundry in this space.
Ok, let’s see what you have for this week.
