It is always a fabulous evening when you can celebrate a special day with very close friends. Setting a special table is also one of my favorite things. I received some beautiful new linens for Christmas, so this was the beginning of my “Valentines Table”. Add in some pretty silver and instant elegance.
Flowers in a silver bowl makes a perfect centerpiece. I keep them nice and low so conversation can flow.
These beautiful linens are a mix of fur, silk and sequins. I received a runner and two placemats. I love using this combination. The runner seems to ground the table and offers a place for two place-settings. The placemats are an unexpected touch for the two remaining place-settings.
A simple charger, white plate and gray napkins complete the setting.
A special dinner of Prime Rib, some great wine and wonderful company creates the perfect evening.
