Yesterday I showed you a tour of Ikea when I took the drapes back. Now there is so much to see and my wish list is about a gazillion miles long, but only one thing just had to come home with me.
I love a nice thick terry robe and it is the most perfect thing to grab when you get out of the shower. You are warm and dry in seconds. Just slip it on and you are done. I’ve had one for years, but a while back it finally wore out and wound up in the rag box all cut up into pieces. Since we live in the desert, it really is usually too warm for such a thick robe, so I have since purchased a couple of thinner more sensible ones for this climate. The only problem was, that wonderful piece to have as you jumped out of the shower. I do have some fabulous great towels, but it just wasn’t the same. I searched for a while for a new terry robe, but the prices always stopped me. It seemed like a luxury at around $85 to $100 that I could skip.
Not so now. Look What I found at Ikea as I was about to leave. This gorgeous, super thick roomy robe. This one is really long too, it almost touches my ankle. Now for the best part – $19.99. Of course I had to have one.
Now where to put it in the bathroom. Hubby loves his towel, so I can’t take up his space.
No problem, I borrowed this over the door hook from the guest bedroom and it hangs beautifully right behind the door. Perfect to grab as I get out of the shower and I am loving it.
Sometimes you find the most unusual things at Ikea, so be sure to look around while you are there.
