Shopping For New Hardwood Floors

I have talked about this long enough, time to find just the right floor and get rid of the really worn carpet.

Off to Floor & Decor to find just the perfect floors.  If you havn’t been to one of their stores, you have really missed out. (Thank you to Floor & Decor for sponsoring this post, all opinions  are strictly my own.)

When you enter the store it is almost overwhelming, just look at what all they have to choose from.   On my right I saw more tile than I had ever seen before.  Since I am doing a kitchen remodel I had to take a look at all the tile while I was there.

Then on my left I could see pallets of floor tile and way to the left rows of wood flooring.

I was familiar with this store since my daughter bought her Travertine and Hardwoods from them for her remodel last year and I had a ball shopping with her.  However I had no idea they had so much to offer so I was thrilled when they  invited me to have a store tour with their Glendale manager, Jed Hauser and their Lead Design Specialist James Robbins.   Both were so friendly and showed me through the whole store and explained all of their services and products.

All of their design services are free (how fabulous is that) and they have dozens of displays all over the store to show you how to create a unique look to fit your style.

If you’re working on a bathroom or kitchen, they have more tile than you could ever hope to find and sample boards showing how it will look installed.  Just look at those gorgeous vessel sinks too.

There are dozens and dozens of sample boards.  There is so much inspiration to help you design your perfect space.  Since I will be looking for a back splash for my kitchen makeover, I really enjoyed seeing all these designs and samples.

They definitely have all the latest styles.

This is wood salvaged from boats.  How gorgeous is this.  Can’t you just see a feature wall or fireplace covered with this.

They have a fabulous selection of counter tops too.  Stones and quartz that is sold in cut lengths.  You don’t have to buy a whole slab, buy just the lengths you need.

They carry a fabulous black granite that I loved and would be perfect for my new countertops and a 9′ section is only $338.26.  That is an incredible price, so if you are looking for quartz or granite, by all means check them out.

I have never seen such an extensive selection of butcher block counters either.  This blew me away.  Look at all those exotic woods.

They have the latest in porcelain tiles  and

the wood look porcelain tile that is so popular

and really looks like wood.

These large 6′ slabs are the latest for luxurious floors too.

See all the marble – – I was just drooling

Marbles in every color and

their selection of Travertine is amazing. (sorry this one is so blurry)

They also have aisle after aisle of vinyl and wood floors – laminates –
engineered – bamboo and solid hardwoods.

If you are doing any kind of remodel, you can find anything you need at Floor & Decor.  They even have every tool you need to do the job.  Definitely one stop shopping to finish any project.  I was like a kid in a candy story drooling over all the choices and possibilities for making over my home.  I picked out several samples of flooring to take home and see how it would look in my house.  Time to make a choice.
