Making over any project from the Dollar Store is always a winner in my book and it definitely fits my budget. I am still tinkering with my kitchen makeover and trying to get the counters accessorized. I needed something to hold my wooden spoons and a wisk that I reach for all the time, so I looked around at the Dollar Store.
I wanted something a little on the elegant side. When I saw these clear glass vases, I knew this would do the trick.
Perfect size to hold the things I want to keep at hand.
I already had some metallic and black tape that I picked up at Target a while back.
Now this couldn’t be easier. I just layed the tape down where I wanted it on the glass and then rolled the container. The tape stuck as I was rolling. How easy is that.
Next I added a row of black. See how you just lay in on the container then roll to tape all the way around.
I added two more rows of gold and called it good. I love how elegant and chic it looks.
Not bad for $1.00 – I already had the tape.
