I have been into checks, clay pots, wicker and sunflowers this past week. When you put all this together it just reminds me of a country home and table, so I thought I would create a Country Farmhouse style table for Easter.
One of my favorite pieces is this Fitz & Floyd Bunnie tureen. How perfect is this for Easter. He’s so cute sitting on a bed of cabbage with an apple on his back. This became the jumping off piece for my tablescape.
I have been crushing on sunflowers (in fact anything yellow lately), and since I had a few in my stash, I thought they added the right amount of “sunshine” to the table.
A few marble eggs and of course a little clay pot with some ivy fill out my wicker tray.
Just look at those eyes on that bunny, how sweet is he.
I layered a couple of table runners for texture and added some bright yellow napkins.
Doesn’t this just remind you of your grandma’s house or a friend down on the farm?
A little bit fun and whimsy. Definitely matches my mood at the moment. How about you, are you going formal or a little casual too?
