2015 Christmas Home Tours – My Home

Welcome, I am so glad you are here for the beginning of the 2015 Christmas Home Tours.    We have some amazing homes for you to tour over the next 5 days.

It is so fun to start the day off with my tour, I can’t wait to have you come on in and let’s visit as I show you around.

The living/dining areas greet you as you open the door.  This year I went with a little silver/gold glitz with accents of green.

Everything is something that I have been rethinking except for the two fabulous Malachite Pillows that I made and spruced up with a little gold metallic paint.  You can see that tutorial here.

Most of my santas and faux trees are fabulous Goodwill finds from the last couple of years.

Our tree is done the same way every year.  It is filled with some vintage ornaments that I have collected for years and of course I adore my doves.

This is the time of year when we all seem to make time for each other.  The ottoman holds a few gifts ready to be delivered to loved ones.

The dining area is set with more thrifty finds.

I repurposed my wreaths and sequin deer this year.  Love the sparkle and shine in the light.

All three trees and my gorgeous carolers were found at Goodwill.  Grouped together they make a glitzy display.  I found the deer at Home Goods this year.  He is the perfect finishing touch.

My MIL’s nativity always gets a place of honor on the buffet.

I love that she gave this vintage set to me years ago.  The details are so beautiful.

Let’s head down the hall to the Master Bedroom.

The green malachite and gold found it’s way into the bedroom too.

The dresser is decked out with one of my favorite Santas and a few hostess gifts.

Some special treats for very special friends.

Isn’t he perfect.  I love that he has presents and even the tree.

Simple packages with pretty bows make anything special.

I’m off to lunch with a friend, just have to finish getting ready, grab my purse and her gift and out the door.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I loved having you.  Check back later for Part 2 where I feature the Family and Breakfast areas.

Be sure to visit the other 5 homes on the tour today, these are some fabulously talented ladies.
