How To Set Up A Beautiful Seasonal Beverage Station. The Holiday Season calls for more entertaining than usual for most of us. I love to make it as easy and simple for myself as possible. Food that can be made ahead and my guests can serve themselves. Setting up a drink station for kids and adults, lets everyone have a good time and no fuss for me too. I am thrilled to be joining some of my favorite bloggers today for some Early Holiday Inspireation. This fun event is being hosted by Pasha @ Pasha is Home. If you are coming over from her post, thanks so much for stopping by. She has the most amazing ideas to get you excited for the Holidays, I know you will love them all.
We’re not big drinkers around here, but for the Holidays I like to have an assortment of drinks available for my guests. They can choose whatever they want. In my dining room I have a buffet table that holds a tray of various bottles of alcohol. I also have a wine rack with an assortment of wine. I always have plenty of sodas in the fridge, if they want 7-up or coke to mix a drink they can help themselves. Sometimes I set up a small tray with an assortment of Brandy for after dinner. Jim use to like a small glass. Most often I make a big drink dispenser full of punch for the kids and chill a bottle of wine for the adults. I thought maybe it was time to expand the choices a bit. I love to serve coffee after the meal or with dessert. I stumbled across this fabulous post sharing how to make Homemade Coffee Syrups. Well, I already have some that I usually just set out, then I thought why not create a small Dessert Coffee Bar in my kitchen. We make old fashioned coffee in a pot and drink the whole thing in the morning. I also love to brew some specialty blends in the evening as kind of a dessert coffee. I love coffee, hot or cold. In the morning I am a plain black coffee person. No sugar or cream, but in the evening – well that’s another whole story. Sometimes I just want a hot cup of coffee with sugar and cream. Then there are times when I want a nice Coffee-Kahlua-Cream, or maybe a Coffee-Amaretta-Cream. Sometimes with dessert I really like a nice cold coffee with mocha or caramel and whipped cream. They’re all wonderful and make a really great treat. See those wonderful syrups – can you see that they are 0 calorie and 0 sugar. Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I thought this was the perfect idea to add to my Thanksgiving get-together. I had a small marble tray so I pulled it out and arranged my syrups and a sugar and creamer next to the coffee pot. I just had to treat myself to a really nice big mug of cold coffee with mocha and whipped cream. Now that is a fabulous afternoon snack that I think I will repeat often. This is the post that got me running down that rabbit hole. These flavors all sound delicious, I think when the ones I have are gone, then I will make my own. This may just stay out on my counter for good. I think the Holidays will be the perfect time to enjoy some great coffee anytime. How about you, do you like flavored coffee?
There are so many ideas on How To Set Up A Beautiful Seasonal Beverage Station. Let me know what your favorite is. I found my syrups at Home Goods in their gourmet section, but they are all available on Amazon. You can buy just one flavor or a whole assortment package. I’ve listed a few for you to check out.
