Adding Last Minute Christmas to the Loft/Office. Christmas has been a little different this year. My son and daughter have been troopers keeping things afloat since my surgery. I am doing so much better now, I am walking about a mile and a half a day and beginning to create a new routine. I’ve spent a lot of time in my office looking at your blogs. I love all the amazing decor, crafts, and recipes you are making for Christmas. My son did most of our decorating this year, but I thought I would add some things to the loft/office area to give it a little Christmas spirit.
When you walk upstairs the first thing you see is our wonderful open landing area and loft. I claimed this space as my office when we moved in. I love that I can look over the railing and see half the downstairs. It always makes me feel like I can keep up with anything that is going on anywhere in the house.
I use this pretty antique gateleg table as my desk. Perfect spot to get some work done. There’s also plenty of room for a nice little settee – – –
and a nice comfy leather chair.
I looked around and found one of the Christmas Bins in the garage that had a few things that I thought could add a little last minute Christmas to this space. A little gold reindeer and a tiny tree are perfect on the wicker trunk.
This sequin Pillow is a great accent to the leather chair.
My favorite little carolers fit nicely on the back of my desk.
Not a lot, but just enough to add some Christmas Spirit.
Now I think I will take a little rest and then see about making some Sugar Cookies. They are one of my favorites for Christmas. If you need a great recipe, you might try this one.
Such a lovely, cozy room. Love the carolers.
Glad you’re feeling so much better, Marty! Love your loft space; so cozy and comfy. Your cookies sound wonderful Merry Christmas!
I am so happy to hear you are doing well, Marty. You have such a winning spirit. Keep up the good walking habit!!! You have such nice weather there this time of year!
I think your added touches look perfect.
Merry Christmas and have a very happy, peaceful and HEALTHY new year.
