Bar carts are all the rage right now. I have absolutely no room for another piece of furniture, however I do have a fabulous wine cabinet that I could repurpose.
I’ve had this wonderful wine cabinet for ages. With no where to put it, it has been in the laundry room. Time to pull it out and dress it up a little.
This is what the breakfast area looked like before I started this makeover. See that pedestal and plant in the corner. Do you know how outdated that is. I think sometimes we get so use to seeing something that we really don’t “see” it anymore. Time for that to go.
I shopped the house to see what I could come up with for a vignette. A grass cloth tray, some gold napkins and a cute little bowl for corks. I put some gold straws that I had in a gold polka dot glass and added a bottle of Sparkling Lemonade.
Of course, I think this gold dot drink dispenser is the neatest thing ever. So perfect for Champagne Punch or how about some fabulous Sangria.
Now I love, love, love chocolate and a bottle of Chocolate Port Wine is so yummy.
Of couse a bottle of Chocolate Chardonnay is wonderful too.
It’s nice to have this out where we can enjoy it and so much better than that pedestal and plant. Added bonus is I have more room in the laundry too.
Ok, now to finish up this room and get this house back together.
How about you, are you into the “bar” thing?
