All of the Christmas is packed away and the New Year has been rung in. Time to try and put the house back together. A good cleaning is first, then rearranging a few accessories.
The family room is on my list for a revamp this year. Paint, new drapes and shades are first on the list, but for now I love this brown combination and it looks great in this room with the brown check drapes.
After Christmas I always enjoy less clutter – A simple vignette seemed perfect for the coffee table.
I always love mixing patterns and textures.
Adding a few elements of nature works too.
Now to put the rest of the house together, and then pick out some paint. Do you have big plans for some DIY projects too?
