Easter’s On The Way

Easter’s on the way.  Such a fun holiday and one my children always loved.  Now I have fun with the grandkids,  they love Easter too.  I try every year to create a tablescape that has a touch of Easter.  This year I did a simple one in the Breakfast Room.

This year we are having Easter for the whole family at my Daughter’s house.  As usual, our family always does a fun pot luck, so I will be baking a big ham to take.  There will be tons of side dishes and desserts plus a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.

Even though I won’t be having Easter dinner here, I still wanted to create a fun tablescape to enjoy for the week.  I like to have something pretty for everyday, it just seems to make any meal more fun.

I started with a simple centerpiece that I already had on the table.  The brass lantern and the ivy plant were my base.

Of course, I had to add my Easter Bunny Tureen and a few eggs to the mix.  This little tureen is such a fun piece.  I love all the veggies he is wearing, he must have been in the garden.

The place settings are the ones I usually have on the table.  I just changed out the napkins and glassware to go with the centerpiece.

I’ve had this set of napkin rings for years.  They are so fun and the grandkids love them.  We have a duck, chick, and pig in the mix.

I think this will be fun when the grands are here.
