This time of year we are all so busy with trying to decorate our homes and find the perfect Christmas present for those we love, plus squeezing in time to entertain and enjoy friends. In the midst of all the chaos and rushing around, it’s important to take the time to make some memories. Stopping and enjoying the little things is my favorite way to create a wonderful memory.
Adding a cozy place to curl up and enjoy the lights from the tree, listening to my favorite Christmas music, or having a glass of wine and visiting with hubby.- – –
Marveling at the beauty of a thrifted Santa’s robe. I am amazed at the detail and imagination that goes into the embellishments on these beautiful figures —
Remembering the true meaning of Christmas as you set up a cherished Nativity – –
Creating a few DIY ornaments to fill a pretty bowl. You know how much I love polka dots and leopard – – –
The whimsy of an “Elf On The Shelf”.
Pulling out my rolling pin and cookie cutters —
and baking my favorite sugar cookies that my children grew up with – –
Even the simple act of kicking off your shoes after a full day of shopping and enjoying wrapping everything in pretty bows – –
Most of all I love making memories by getting together with family and friends. An evening filled with loved ones, loads of good food and tons of laughter is my favorite way to celebrate the holidays. Whether we’re at home or traveling, we can always find the perfect restaurant on Quandoo. A friend introduced us to this site and it has become a favorite. If you aren’t familiar with them, check them out, there are thousands of restaurants to choose from around the world. Pick your city, a favorite restaurant, make your reservation and enjoy time with loved ones. Now that is the best kind of memory of all.
So, what is your favorite way to create memories?
