Don’t Want To Be Fancy – A Simple Tablescape For Easter. I love to create a fancy tablescape and pull out all the stops, then sometimes I just like for things to be simple and easy. Since we will be spending Easter at my daughter’s, I wanted a simple table for every day, but still with a nod to this special holiday.
Yellow and white tulips always make me think of spring, plus what is prettier than yellow and blue. I had some tulips so I put them in a pretty blue cache pot for a simple but stunning centerpiece. I filled the pot as full as I could and love how the tulips seem to be overflowing and draping down to the table. This is the perfect start for a simple table setting.
I set the table with simple gold chargers and glasses. Then I added a white dinner plate and a small blue and white butter dish to each place setting. Everyday flatware and pretty blue and white stripe napkins finish off each setting. Two of the napkins have cute duck napkin rings – –
and two have bunny napkin rings.
The yellow and white tulips look so pretty, I love this arrangement. I also featured my mother’s favorite china egg from the 40’s.
A really simple table that pays tribute to the holiday without being fussy. Perfect for every day and even perfect for company.

Lovely. Imagine walking by a cheerful tablescape that speaks spring.
So nice! I love the way you placed the silverware directly on the table. In the past when I’ve used narrow table runners, I’ve been undecided on where to place the silverware. Sometimes I would tuck it into the napkin placed in the center of the plate. But I like your placement much better. Thanks for sharing!
